About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative combines inside sales and customer service with technical and systems knowledge to sell products, services, and solutions to new and existing customers through inbound and outbound communications, including telephone, email, fax, and portals. The role develops and manages trusted customer relationships, promotes company solutions, identifies sales opportunities, and supports increased market share, sales, and supplier margins while meeting financial sales metrics. The position operates independently with minimal supervision and applies working knowledge of organizational practices and procedures. Work is generally semi-routine, though alternative solutions may sometimes be needed. The role requires setting priorities, managing time, collaborating with internal departments and customers, and responding to requests. Decisions may affect the department, and errors may result in lost time, resources, or customer satisfaction. The representative should have thorough knowledge of solutions or assigned products in a specific brand and be able to identify qualified new customers among smaller, less complex accounts. Occasional travel to customer sites or training, including overnight travel, may be required. The position is hybrid, as indicated by the job posting’s #LI-HYBRID designation.
