About The Position

Inside Sales Representatives engage with telephone and walk-in customers and guide them through the purchasing process. They build relationships and use strong communication skills to convey the benefits of the company’s products and services. They help customers identify offerings that meet their needs and understand product features, creating valuable customer connections and contributing to the company’s overall success. The position is located at the Theodore Store in Theodore, Alabama.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the construction and/or metal roofing industry.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in an inside sales role or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma.
• Above-average math skills.
• At least two years of related experience in the construction or metal roofing industry.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
• Ability to learn and/or perform on all software required in the Sales Department.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a telephone or cell phone to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects to encourage repeat business.
• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers.
• Ensure order accuracy, delivery information accuracy, and secure payment.
• Maintain strong working relationships with lumberyard and manufacturing employees to better serve customers.
• Stay up to date and well versed in software and required technologies relevant to the metal roofing and construction industry.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
