About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative works with clients to provide a successful customer experience and generate sales across all product lines. The role serves existing customers and develops prospective customers through phone, email, and direct office appointments, providing information on product specifications, services, pricing, delivery, and installation scheduling. The position focuses on designers, remodelers, select builders, and retail customers. It includes showroom hours, including Saturdays, with a comp day provided for Saturday hours.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience or hands-on knowledge in construction-industry product sales.
Self-motivated and driven to close sales.
Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company.
Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional showroom experience for clients.
Present products and services to customers.
Assist customers on the showroom floor, by phone, and via email; also assist with answering phones.
Attend required training functions.
Maintain and clean a specific area of the showroom.
Collect deposits and balances before delivery.
Assist with inventory as required.
Make follow-up calls to secure orders.
Participate in after-hours events and sponsorships as required.
Resolve customer issues.
Generate and develop new customer business accounts to increase revenue profitably.
Enter orders into the computer system and coordinate with production regarding orders, delivery, and installation.
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with collections as necessary.
