Inside Sales Lighting Specialist
About The Position
Our client is a well-established manufacturer's representative firm specializing in electrical and lighting solutions across the Southwest. They partner with leading manufacturers and work closely with distributors, contractors, engineers, and end users to drive product specification, sales, and customer support. They're known for their strong industry relationships, technical expertise, and long-standing reputation in the market. This role serves as the primary contact for lighting-related customer inquiries, providing support on product selection, pricing, availability, lead times, and order status. The specialist will also prepare lighting quotations, perform lighting take-offs from plans and specifications, coordinate project pricing and registrations, and manage lighting projects from quotation through final shipment. Additionally, they will process customer and manufacturer orders, monitor order status, and maintain accurate project documentation. The role involves partnering with outside sales representatives, providing technical product support, and maintaining accurate project and customer information in Salesforce. Developing expertise in assigned lighting manufacturers and products, and participating in ongoing manufacturer training are also key aspects of the position.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for lighting-related customer inquiries.
- Provide timely support on product selection, pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.
- Build strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and the our clients sales team.
- Prepare accurate lighting quotations.
- Perform lighting take-offs from plans and specifications.
- Coordinate project pricing and registrations.
- Follow up on quotations and support project opportunities.
- Manage lighting projects from quotation through final shipment.
- Process customer purchase orders and manufacturer orders.
- Monitor order status, communicate updates, and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with outside sales representatives to support customer projects.
- Provide technical product support and manufacturer coordination.
- Maintain accurate project and customer information in Salesforce.
- Develop expertise in assigned lighting manufacturers and products.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and stay current on industry trends.
