About The Position

The Inside Sales role develops customer relationships by identifying customer needs, applying knowledge of PFF (pipes, fittings, and flanges) products to recommend appropriate solutions, and informing customers about company products and services. The role handles customer requests and issues by telephone, fax, or email, and coordinates with outside sales and other departments to provide effective customer service. It responds to orders and quotation requests submitted by outside salespersons and through telephone, email, written, and faxed correspondence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office software and Adobe.
• Self-driven, with a positive attitude and demeanor.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Industry product knowledge.
• Knowledge of PFF (pipes, fittings, and flanges) products, specifications, and common industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and delivery information.
• Manage the entire order-processing workflow, including assigning, reviewing, approving, and distributing customer order documents to appropriate departments.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner and ensure requests are handled and completed daily.
• Follow up to support timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and vendors.
• Purchase material as needed for customer orders and stock.
• Resolve customer service issues.
• Track open sales orders.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
