Requirements

Associate’s degree (minimum).
Previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Gmail.
High-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers.
Ability to multitask, such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills.
General knowledge of basic mathematical computations.
Ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer.
Experience using ERP software programs.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

Reviews orders for accuracy and completion.
Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff.
Enters all sales orders into our ERP system.
Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders.
Computes prices, shipping costs and any appropriate discounts.
Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel.
Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor provided resources.
Determines appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings.
Verifies and updates customer information.
Checks customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments.
Informs customer and/or sales team of shipping date and any possible delays.
Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system.
Electronically files copies of all orders received.
Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
