About The Position

ADI Global Distribution is hiring an Inside Sales Associate to increase market share, uncover new opportunities, and provide solutions to customer needs that support long-term customer partnerships. The role focuses on growing assigned accounts profitably, building customer relationships, applying product knowledge, and promoting ADI’s resources and services. The associate provides a shopping experience in-store, by phone, and online, and supports other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and basic ability to operate Microsoft Office.
• Desire to work in a sales role and be accountable for sales revenue.

• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service, with negotiation ability and an understanding of marketing skills.
• Knowledge of customer relationship management tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet performance targets by growing revenue and increasing margins in assigned accounts.
• Increase order size and customer transactions, and use pricing tools to improve margin percentage.
• Add new customers and increase the customer base.
• Identify opportunities to convert purchases from competitors.
• Manage existing accounts through regular communication using the customer database.
• Make outbound calls and reach the required daily call minimum to present leads.
• Promote positive relationships within ADI to encourage team sales and exceptional customer service.
• Educate customers about new products and product lines, keeping current with industry developments.
• Maintain and update customer interactions in the tracking system.
• Apply product and service knowledge to sell to customers.
• Explain product features and advantages in non-technical terms.
• Stay current on new offerings and technology trends through industry news and other sources.
• Use ADI resources, services, and programs to educate customers.
• Provide an exceptional shopping experience in-store, by phone, and online.
• Support other duties as assigned.
