About The Position

This is an IN-OFFICE Hybrid Trainee role in the Allstate Atlanta office. The role requires Monday-Friday in-office presence during the initial 15-week training period. After training, the schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the office, with Tuesday, Thursday, and rotational Saturdays designated for Work From Home. The office is located at 400 Galleria Parkway SE, Atlanta, GA 30339. As a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will interact with customers, contractors, and vendors through software platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration via voice calls, email, and text messages. This role has a specific focus on water losses.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
  • Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
  • Must have appropriate desk and seating when working from home
  • Reliable internet required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industry experience is highly desired
  • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred

  • Apply sharp critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Execute policies along policy agreements to protect the company financially
  • Maintain a clear record of work in a claims system
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed for each claim
