About The Position

Curtis Lumber, a family-owned and operated building materials retailer, is seeking an Inside Contractor Sales professional with knowledge of building material products and a strong sales background. Responsibilities

  • Understand the marketplace and know product features
  • Work to meet prospect customers’ needs
  • Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
  • Effective closing technique
  • Responsible for maintaining customer projects from their initial quote through an invoiced sale
  • Share expertise with others
  • Outside Sales Support
  • Assist and support outside sales with product selection, questions, and order writing
  • Assist with estimating material needed for projects
  • Set up special orders
  • Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and to maintain the profitability of the sale
  • Develop a continuous business relationship with customers and our vendors
