About The Position

ProMax is a leading provider of automotive retail technology, delivering a Unified Retail Platform designed to power automotive dealership success. Our platform integrates CRM, compliance, credit solutions, desking, lead generation, and digital retail tools—equipping dealerships to operate more efficiently, sell more vehicles, and deliver a seamless customer experience. We are seeking a high-energy, production-driven Inside Account Executive to serve as a market evangelist for the ProMax platform. In this role, you will drive growth by building trusted relationships with dealership decision-makers and demonstrating how ProMax’s technology transforms dealership performance. This position blends in-office collaboration, field engagement, and remote productivity after onboarding: The first 90 days will be spent 100% in the office for training, onboarding, and process workflows. 60% in-office (team collaboration & pipeline management), 30% remote/home office (when sales metrics are achieved and maintained), and 10% travel (dealer visits, demos, market development).

Requirements

  • Proven success in automotive retail sales, preferably with experience leading BDC in an auto dealership.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a disciplined approach to daily activity and pipeline management
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory if necessary
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both independent and team-based responsibilities
  • A personal accountability for success, you must learn to be the subject matter expert on your suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business Growth
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline using a designated Salesforce process (CRM tool)
  • Proactively prospect and engage dealerships through daily outreach – target 30 new touches and introductions per day while building the pipeline.
  • Identify dealership pain points and position ProMax solutions to meet their needs
  • Deliver compelling product demos across: CRM & lifecycle management, Compliance & regulatory tools, Credit & financing workflows, Desking and deal structuring, Lead generation & digital retail solutions
  • Act as a ProMax Evangelist
  • Clearly articulate the value of an integrated, unified retail platform
  • Create urgency and demand by connecting product capabilities to real dealership outcomes
  • Stay informed on industry trends and dealership challenges to position solutions effectively
  • Master our product fit and solution-based software and relate industry needs through product market fit.
  • Ensure a Seamless Customer Experience
  • Partner with implementation, training, and account management teams post-sale
  • Set clear expectations during the sales process
  • Support a smooth transition from onboarding to long-term customer success
