About The Position

Tandem, an ISO 9001:2015-certified mail facility, provides mail and fulfillment services, first-class presort, and third-class mail processing. The Inserter Operator operates automated inserters to meet production schedules and maintain established quality-control procedures. The role primarily focuses on long production runs with fewer changeovers and no oversight duties. The operator also helps maintain a neat and clean work area and complies with standards that support the health and safety of all individuals.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand and follow quality-control procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated inserters at maximum efficiency while meeting the production schedule.
• Follow established quality-control procedures and help ensure they are followed.
• Maintain minimum production standards for completed products.
• Primarily handle long production runs with fewer changeovers and no oversight duties.
• Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a supervisor or department head.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Comply with standards intended to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
• Report to work as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
