About The Position

Tandem, an ISO 9001:2015-certified mail facility, provides full-service mail and fulfillment, first-class presort, and third-class mail processing. The Inserter Operator operates automated inserters to meet production schedules while maintaining established quality-control procedures and minimum production standards. The role primarily handles long production runs with fewer changeovers and no oversight duties. Tandem is part of Benchmark Human Services’ not-for-profit sister company, AWRC. Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand and follow quality-control procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated inserters.
• Operate equipment efficiently while meeting the production schedule.
• Follow established quality-control procedures.
• Maintain minimum production standards for completed product.
• Primarily handle long runs with fewer changeovers and no oversight duties.
• Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a supervisor or department head.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Comply with standards intended to protect the health and safety of all individuals.
• Report to work as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
