About The Position

We are seeking a Senior InSAR Technology Analyst to join our Digital Solutions team. This role is designed for an experienced InSAR professional with hands‑on expertise in advanced processing methods, signal interpretation, and operational monitoring applications. You will take technical ownership of complex InSAR monitoring projects—from processing strategy and signal validation through client delivery and project renewal. In addition to deep technical work, this role includes client‑facing engagement, proposal support, and mentorship of junior analysts. This is a contract position through February 1, 2027, ideal for an analyst who enjoys combining advanced InSAR science with real‑world operational impact.

Requirements

  • Broad, hands‑on experience processing and analyzing InSAR data in operational or applied research environments
  • Deep understanding of multiple InSAR processing methodologies (e.g., time‑series approaches, multi‑baseline techniques)
  • Strong understanding of InSAR signal sources, including deformation signals, atmospheric effects, orbital errors, and noise characteristics
  • Proven ability to design, evaluate, and refine processing workflows for challenging datasets
  • Proficiency using Linux‑based command‑line tools for InSAR processing
  • Experience working with GIS platforms and manipulating geospatial datasets
  • Strong client‑facing communication skills, including written reports, visual outputs, and verbal presentations
  • Experience with scientific or image processing techniques beyond InSAR
  • Working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, and/or Linux shell scripting (Bash, Python preferred)
  • InSAR-related university degree, and a background in an Earth science, computer science, physics or engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience (including experience during education) in processing InSAR and/or managing InSAR projects is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Geotechnical knowledge, particularly in mining or slope stability contexts
  • Surveying or geodesy background
  • High‑Performance Computing (HPC) or large‑scale processing environments
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and advance 3vGeomatics’ InSAR monitoring capabilities, contributing to evolving processing workflows and best practices
  • Process, analyze, and interpret InSAR datasets across a range of monitoring applications (e.g., ground deformation, slope stability, infrastructure, mining)
  • Manage large‑scale and technically complex InSAR projects, including end‑to‑end delivery and client renewal
  • Apply expert knowledge of InSAR signals, noise sources, and deformation mechanisms—ensuring signals are correctly modelled, filtered, or preserved
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, both remotely and in person
  • Support business development through proposal contributions, technical writing, client meetings, and live demonstrations

Benefits

  • competitive salary
  • learn from talented individuals across multiple disciplines
