About The Position
Work Schedule: 90% FTE, 7:00pm-7:30am with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked. Additional components of compensation may include overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
Nice To Haves
- UW Health Chemotherapy course completion within six months of hire.
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients on the Surgical Oncology unit.
- Rotate weekends and holidays.
- Administer chemotherapy.
- Participate in shared governance.
