About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN on the Surgical Oncology unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working a 90% FTE schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a rotation for holidays and weekends. The position offers competitive pay, including shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- UW Health Chemotherapy course completion within six months of hire.

- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care on the Surgical Oncology unit.
- Work a schedule of 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations.
- Administer patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
