About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN in Surgical Oncology at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves a 90% FTE schedule, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a rotation for holidays and weekends. The position offers competitive pay with additional shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Surgical Oncology unit.
- Work a 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift with holiday and weekend rotation.
- Complete UW Health Chemotherapy course within six months of hire.
