About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working a 90% FTE, 12-hour night shift, 3 shifts per week, with rotations including weekends and holidays. The position offers competitive pay with shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS and PALS certification by the end of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric inpatient setting.
- Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
- Adhere to Basic Life Support/CPR standards.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS certification by the end of orientation.
