About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN in Emergency Medicine at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role is PRN FTE with varying shifts. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing program.
- Successful completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Education Program and Certificate of Completion from the State of Illinois.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of IL.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Certification of completion of SANE training from the State of Illinois.
- Become SANE certified within 5 years (SANE-A and SANE-P).
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Medicine department.
- Work varying shifts as needed for PRN FTE.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
