About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN in Emergency Medicine at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working 3-12 hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position offers competitive pay, including shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS (maintain) certification within 6 months of employment.
- PALS (maintain) certification within 6 months of employment.
- CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
- ENPC certification within 18 months of employment.
- TNCC certification within 18 months of employment.
- ECRN certification within 18 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Medicine department.
