About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN in Emergency Medicine at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, working from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The position offers competitive pay with shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS (maintain) within 6 months of employment.
- PALS (maintain) within 6 months of employment.
- CPI within 6 months of employment.
- ENPC within 18 months of employment.
- TNCC within 18 months of employment.
- ECRN within 18 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in an inpatient emergency medicine setting.
- Work 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
