About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient General Psychiatrist for its Military Program. This program serves active duty military members and veterans, offering comprehensive treatment tailored to their specific needs. The role involves providing psychiatric care to child and adolescent patients within a multidisciplinary team setting. The position is based in Panama City, FL, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, ideally comfortable treating ages 12 and older for cross coverage and call.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Supervision of NP if interested.
