About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient General Psychiatrist to serve our military and veteran population. This role is part of our successful Military Program, which provides comprehensive treatment tailored to the specific needs of active duty members and veterans. The position is full-time, W2 employed, and requires onsite work in Panama City, FL.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, ideally comfortable treating ages 12 and older for cross coverage and call.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Supervision of NP if interested.
