About The Position

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital located in Panama City, Florida, is seeking a BE/BC General Outpatient Psychiatrist. The hospital provides mental health services to a diverse patient population including children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families, and veterans. This is an employed W-2 position with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8 am - 4:30 pm, primarily at the Panama City Outpatient location. The role will also involve providing telehealth services to surrounding outpatient locations such as Marianna, Okaloosa, and Pensacola. Requirements

• BE/BC in General Psychiatry required. BC strongly preferred.
• Active or eligible for FL medical license
• Must be willing to see ages 12 and older

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Perform medication management
• Manage treatment teams
• Provide daily care of patients
• Complete administrative duties related to patient care
• Provide telehealth services to surrounding outpatient locations as required
