The Innovation Coordinator (IC) works under the guidance of the Regional Manager of Innovative Services. The primary focus of the IC is to support people to live more effective and meaningful lives by working with them to secure nontraditional services that encompass a combination of staff supports and enabling technologies. This includes residential, employment, and community supports. Key areas include assessment, person centered / MAP's planning, linking people to services, training, and advocacy. The Charles Lea Center is looking for an Innovation Coordinator to help develop and implement a unique and new service in Tennessee designed to help young adults in the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. Using a unique approach built around person centered, employment first, and technology first thinking. The ideal candidate is grounded in person centered thinking and can foster a creative and forward-thinking approach to providing services in Tennessee. The Charles Lea Center is a CQL accredited organization that provides services in South Carolina, North Carolina, and recently was awarded a contract with the Tennessee Department Disability and Aging (DDA) to provide services in their State.
