About The Position

The Inner Wellbeing & Spirituality Associate supports the spiritual wellbeing of residents, families, volunteers, and staff by fostering connection, comfort, and belonging. This role provides compassionate spiritual care through individual support, worship services, faith-based programming, remembrance events, and meaningful community engagement. Working closely with the Inner Wellbeing & Spirituality Manager, the Associate helps create an inclusive environment that honors individuals of all faith traditions and those with no faith tradition.

Requirements

Ordained or commissioned minister, or eligible for ordination or commissioning within 12 months of hire.
Three years of experience in ministry, spiritual care, chaplaincy, or a related field.
Two years of experience leading worship services within a faith tradition.
Experience working with older adults, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospice, or a related setting.
Ability to provide inclusive spiritual care and build meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to resident dignity, confidentiality, and person-centered service.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
Conduct one-on-one visits and facilitate group engagement opportunities.
Plan and lead worship services, Bible studies, holiday observances, and other spiritual programming.
Organize remembrance and memorial services that honor residents and support community reflection.
Partner with other departments to develop meaningful programming for residents.
Coordinate with community faith leaders and support onsite faith-based services and activities.
Maintain participation records and support ongoing departmental operations and training.
