About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Injection Molding Operator. The role involves operating injection molding machines, performing quality inspections, and ensuring the proper handling and packaging of parts. The operator will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following all management instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• One year manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows all instructions given by management.
• Communicates any concerns, hazards, or potential problems to management.
• Inspects area for proper tools, cleanliness, etc.
• Inspects / separates fittings.
• Puts runner in granulator.
• Trims any “flash” from parts until problem is corrected.
• Checks bins on a regular basis to ensure parts are not mixed or overflowing.
• Bags and boxes parts, and then stacks boxes on pallets.
• Perform and record required quality inspections at the machines.
• Knows location of emergency call switch, if applicable.
• Knows location of emergency stop button and when to use it.
• Inspects and cleans area and keeps debris picked up.
• Notifies management of any oil /water leaks from the machine.
• Wears clean gloves to keep dirt and hand oils off of select brass inserts.
• Inspects core / adapter prior to loading of brass inserts.
• Keeps machine on steady cycle.
• Ensures proper labeling and bags are sealed correctly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
