The Ingredient Receiver Rail Operator will be responsible for operating a locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars, working the Control Room Panel as a Batching operator, and coordinating activities such as switching cars and coupling railcars. This role involves handling switches and hand brakes, monitoring track conditions, accurately recording data, operating scales, documenting incoming ingredients, and operating equipment to unload feed ingredients. The position also requires obtaining and running quality analysis on incoming ingredients, performing minor maintenance, and working in various environmental conditions including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. The role requires the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as needed, work in elevated areas, and adhere to biosecurity guidelines. The team member must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, or up to 100 lbs with assistance, and sustain physical activity throughout the day including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing ladders/stairs. All Tyson Health and Safety protocols must be followed, and good housekeeping must be maintained.
