About The Position
Everflow is seeking an AI Engineer to manage massive scale in the ad-tech space. This role involves viewing LLMs as a component within a complex, high-concurrency distributed system and leading the platform's evolution from "data-rich" to "intelligence-driven." The engineer will be responsible for architecting the integration of Gemini and Vertex AI into Everflow's real-time attribution and analytics engine, utilizing the GCP ecosystem. The mission includes designing system orchestration for AI workflows, adapting to emerging GCP technologies, and ensuring AI-driven features are deterministic, cost-controlled, and fast.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and data integrity.
- Strong experience with the Google Cloud ecosystem (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GKE) and Vertex AI.
- High proficiency in French and English.
- Ability to work from the Montreal office at least two days per week.
- Understanding that in ad-tech, latency is the enemy and accuracy is the product.
Responsibilities
- Design modular AI services that allow for swapping models or orchestration frameworks as the GCP ecosystem evolves.
- Build secure API layers that allow Gemini to act on behalf of users within the Everflow ecosystem.
- Engineer middleware for model routing, semantic caching, and token-budgeting to maintain margins.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy models from experimental notebooks to production-grade Cloud Run/GKE deployments.
