About The Position

BNY is seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join its Intelligent Automation Engineering team in Lake Mary or Pittsburgh. The role develops and configures ServiceNow applications and integrations, translating requirements and mock-ups into functional features in collaboration with implementation teams. It also contributes to application support and user acceptance testing, while working in an Agile/Scrum environment. The work includes web technologies, integrations with HR systems, and technical solutions involving automation and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent education or experience is also referenced.
• 5–9 years of experience in software development or technology infrastructure.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Experience with web technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, and web services, and experience working in a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in technical consulting roles.
• Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with async/await, type hints, virtual environments, and packaging.
• Experience consuming LLM APIs and applying prompt-engineering best practices.
• Exposure to agentic AI concepts, including tool-calling, function calling, ReAct patterns, RAG, and vector stores.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD basics, Docker, and team-based Agile environments.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
• Seven or more years working on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow accreditations across all product lines.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
• Hands-on experience with an LLM orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Proven experience in an additional product line outside of ITSM.
• Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO, and related technologies.
• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum (ITBM) methodology.
• Strong active listening, ownership, and written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop across the full stack of web technologies, including Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process.
• Translate requirements, stories, and mock-ups into functional features in collaboration with the implementation project team.
• Configure application user interfaces and workflows.
• Develop integration components, including SSO and LDAP integrations with multiple HR systems.
• Attend and participate in Scrum meetings.
• Assist with user acceptance testing.
• Provide timely updates to management on assigned tasks to support proactive customer communication.
• Contribute to support-related needs.
