About The Position

BNY is seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join its Intelligent Automation Engineering team. The role is listed for Lake Mary and Pittsburgh. The engineer will develop and configure ServiceNow application experiences and workflows, build integrations with HR systems, and contribute to implementation, testing, and support activities. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent degree or experience is also referenced.
• 5–9 years of experience in software development or technology infrastructure.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• JavaScript proficiency.
• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Experience with web technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, and web services, and experience working in a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in technical consulting roles.
• Solid Python proficiency, including familiarity with async/await, type hints, virtual environments, and packaging.
• Experience consuming LLM APIs and applying prompt-engineering best practices.
• Exposure to agentic AI concepts, including tool-calling, function-calling, ReAct patterns, RAG, and vector stores.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD basics, and Docker, and experience in a team-based Agile environment.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
• Seven or more years working on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow accreditations across all product lines.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
• Hands-on experience with an LLM orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a product line outside ITSM.
• Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO, and related technologies.
• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum (ITBM) methodology.
• Active listening, respect for others’ viewpoints, ownership of contributing required input, and strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop across the web technology stack, including Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process focused on coding.
• Translate requirements, stories, and mock-ups into functional features in collaboration with the implementation project team.
• Configure application UI and workflows.
• Develop integration components, such as SSO and LDAP integrations, with multiple HR systems.
• Attend and participate in Scrum meetings.
• Assist with user acceptance testing.
• Provide timely updates to management on assigned tasks to support proactive customer communication.
• Contribute to support-related needs.
