About The Position

Insight is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join its Client Solutions Services team. The role serves as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients, helping them evaluate, design, implement, and optimize complex infrastructure environments. The position calls for architecture expertise across data center networking and infrastructure, including Cisco networking and experience with Juniper/Mist, Palo Alto, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix technologies.

The architect assesses customer environments and requirements, develops future-state architecture recommendations and technology roadmaps, and designs integrated solutions across networking, security, cloud, compute, storage, and virtualization. The role also supports engagements from strategy and roadmap development through proofs of concept, pilots, deployment, and integration, and provides architectural oversight during implementation and professional services engagements. The position is remote, with approximately 25% domestic travel to client sites. Compensation is up to $180,000 base salary depending on experience, plus a 15% quarterly bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with data center networking and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• 10+ years of consulting and client-facing technology experience.
• Strong architecture-level expertise with Cisco enterprise networking.
• Experience with Juniper networking and Mist solutions.
• Experience with Palo Alto security technologies.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware and Nutanix environments.
• Demonstrated experience assessing enterprise environments and developing architectures, strategies, and technology roadmaps.
• Experience leading client-facing technical workshops, assessments, and architecture discussions.
• Ability to communicate complex infrastructure solutions clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience developing technical documentation, presentations, SOWs, and scoping materials.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, sales, and professional services teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to enterprise clients on infrastructure and data center solutions.
• Assess existing customer environments, identify technical and business requirements, and develop future-state architecture recommendations.
• Lead the creation of high-level solution architectures, infrastructure strategies, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead client-facing technical workshops, assessments, architecture discussions, and solution presentations.
• Design integrated infrastructure solutions across networking, security, cloud, compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Recommend solutions that align technical architecture with client business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, sales, and professional services teams to develop comprehensive client solutions.
• Support customer engagements from strategy and roadmap development through proof of concepts, pilots, deployment, and integration.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and revising Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting scoping documents.
• Provide architectural oversight throughout implementation and professional services engagements.
• Communicate complex technical recommendations effectively to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging infrastructure technologies, industry trends, and relevant certifications.
