About The Position

Endurance is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join its service team in Virginia Beach. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base. The engineer serves as the lead engineer on infrastructure projects, working across on-premises and cloud environments while providing advanced technical support and consulting. The work arrangement is hybrid/remote, with up to 50% travel to client sites. The position is listed as direct hire.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience supporting and implementing IT infrastructure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, networking, firewalls, wireless technologies, backup and recovery, and IT security frameworks.
• Experience with cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Managed services or consulting experience is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft, VMware, Aruba, or SonicWall certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and migration projects involving servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies.
• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, backup and recovery, and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure, network, and systems issues.
• Create technical documentation, diagrams, and project deliverables while following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
