This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. The Cloud Governance Authority (CGA) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Lead to support the design, development, and maturation of Bank Managed External Public Cloud use cases across AWS and Microsoft Azure. This role serves as a key partner to application delivery teams, helping translate business requirements and technical solutions into well-defined cloud use cases that are complete, accurate, and ready for governance review. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, cloud service teams, risk partners, and control practices to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and approved cloud patterns. Success in this role requires a combination of cloud engineering expertise, architectural thinking, process design, stakeholder engagement, and strong written communication skills. The candidate must be able to simplify complex cloud solutions, identify potential governance concerns early, and drive efficient progression through cloud approval processes.
