About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking individuals who want to make an impact by changing how the world gets built. This role involves developing and delivering factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure, with a focus on smarter, safer, and more sustainable methods. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists, blending real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform capital project planning, management, and execution. The work involves identifying and collecting building component data on systems installed at District sites using various computer formats (Tablets, laptops, Smartphones, etc.). You will use your knowledge of building construction to identify hidden building systems, assess the condition and remaining service life of components, and apply direction on determining RSL Values specific to LAUSD from FCA Unit leadership. Collaboration with other trade surveyors for quantities, measurements, and boilerplate information is expected. You will also conduct/support ad hoc surveys and supervise the performance of staff and survey participants, serving as a resource. This role is onsite at client sites to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have at least 10 years of experience. Four of the ten years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • 6 or more years full time paid professional experience working with on-site construction management teams as well as with campus administrators, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and collect building component data on systems installed at District sites.
  • Use various computer formats to enter data (e.g., Tablets, laptops, Smartphones, etc.).
  • Use knowledge and experience in building construction to identify building systems that are hidden behind walls, ceilings, and floors.
  • Assess the overall condition and remaining service life of building system components based on construction experience and knowledge.
  • Apply direction and guidance on determining RSL Values specific to LAUSD from FCA Unit leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, boilerplate information, etc., as needed and directed.
  • Conduct/support ad hoc surveys related to District sites and buildings on an as needed basis.
  • Supervise the performance of staff and survey participants as needed; serve as a resource to staff.
