About The Position

We are seeking an Information Technology Technician (IT Tech / IT Technician) sometimes referred to as an IT Support Technician, Desktop Support Technician or IT Help Desk Technician. The IT Technician provides day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, software, and end-user devices throughout the organization. This position troubleshoots technology issues, maintains reliable equipment, and supports staff and clinicians to help ensure technology operates efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent if hired before 9/2026
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required if hired after 9/2026
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar)
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues
Install, configure, maintain, and update computers and end-user devices
Respond to technical support requests and provide timely assistance to employees
Monitor equipment functionality and address issues that could impact daily operations
Work closely with the IT team to maintain reliable technology systems and support organizational needs
