Information Technology & Operations Systems VISTA

The Sanneh Foundation•Saint Paul, MN

About The Position

The Sanneh Foundation (TSF), a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) organization, works to empower youth and strengthen communities through holistic programming focused on educational attainment, physical health, and social and emotional well-being. The Information Technology & Operations Systems VISTA will strengthen TSF’s internal IT processes, data security, file organization, and technology capacity. The service is intended to improve staff and volunteer access to program files and awareness of technology tools, supporting onboarding, workload efficiency, and the transfer of institutional knowledge. The VISTA will learn about TSF’s programs, events, software, hardware, IT processes, and existing STEM curricula; observe workflows and assess technology-related capacity gaps; and collaborate with site supervisors and IT and Operations staff on solutions. The role will audit and reorganize TSF’s Google Drive, develop a standardized directory structure and naming conventions, establish role-based access practices, migrate and archive files, and create documentation and training for staff. The VISTA will also research AI tools and centralized knowledge-base approaches, gather recommendations from similar nonprofits, help assemble onboarding resources, test proposed systems with incoming staff or volunteers, and support long-term maintenance plans and IT/AI literacy resources. This is an AmeriCorps VISTA service position. The stated service dates are September 22, 2025, through August 26, 2026. The position requires the ability to lift up to ten pounds and to work in an office setting, including prolonged sitting or standing and occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and related movements.
