Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years years of experience in IT support, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain and manage the firm's computer systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
  • Ensure data security by establishing and monitoring appropriate security measures and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for IT solutions and services when necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems and software to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train staff on new systems, company software, and safe internet practices.
  • Tracking and inventory upkeep of all IT equipment.
  • Travel to the Texas sites as needed.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of software and hardware infrastructure to propose necessary upgrades or new system implementations.
  • Assist with the technical configuration and decommissioning of IT infrastructure during the launch and closure of office locations.
  • Other job duties as needed.
