About The Position

The Information Technology Intern is responsible for performing and assisting with various administrative tasks and projects to support the Information Technology (IT) Team. The internship will take place from June 30, 2026 through August 28, 2026.   • The employee needs to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use fingers to type, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance; stoop/bend and reach, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear.
  • Dexterity requires writing and operating standard office machines such as computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, phones, and calculators.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Canva
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
  • Prior experience working in schools and urban communities is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Information Technology initiatives.
  • Supports with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and assets.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
  • Support users with technical issues and inquiries.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Help ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed.
  • Conduct research on new technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and diverse employee groups.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support for IT projects as needed
  • Deliver administrative support for IT functions, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
  • Occasionally attend meetings virtually, take notes, and outline next steps or support in drafting meeting agendas and materials.
  • Support IT with maintaining IT databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and redirect to appropriate IT team members when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as outlined by IT Leadership.
