About The Position

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking Summer 2027 interns for its Information Technology department. Interns will learn about the insurance business through exposure to departments throughout the organization, networking, mentoring, real-life work activities, and community service. They will develop skills for success by assisting professionals with day-to-day assignments. Possible areas of focus include Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Office (PMO), Systems Development (BRM), F&A Data & Reporting, Service/Help Desk, IT Architecture, and Identity & Access Management. The internship is onsite at FCCI’s corporate office in Sarasota, Florida.

Requirements

• Preferably a current undergraduate student who has completed junior year or a graduate student.
• Customer-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize proficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with others.
• Willingness to complete professional designation(s) and continued insurance education.
• Demonstrated organization skills and ability.
• Proficient use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; additional requirements may apply.

Responsibilities
