About The Position

Provide college level students an opportunity to build problem-solving and real-world experience through hands on application of Information Technology. Responsible for performing PC maintenance and support by performing duties and responsibilities listed below. The Information Technology Intern will install PC hardware, which includes upgrading software, installing and maintaining network components. They will respond to inquiries and questions, provide on-going support and assistance to users, and support ongoing projects. The intern will continually participate in additional training related to the job, perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area, and demonstrate strength in communication and documenting processes.

Requirements

• Currently a college level student looking for IT experience.
• A quick learner who is looking to learn new concepts and ideas.
• Self-starter, motivated, critical thinker, solid work ethic with the ability to create, change, and understand products to meet customer specifications.
• Able to develop alternative solutions and work well in individual and group problem solving situations
• Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and be a team player.
• Possess good problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented, thorough, organized, with the ability to complete projects on time.
• Ability to work and communicate with individuals and groups at varying levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
