About The Position

The ConocoPhillips Digital & IT Summer Internship program includes an exciting summer assignment, along with orientation, teambuilding, community service activities, and opportunities to interact with upper management. As an intern, you would embark on an exciting summer assignment, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real-world projects. This program offers meaningful assignments where interns work directly alongside ConocoPhillips subject matter experts in various IT disciplines. Interns receive guidance and support from supervisors and mentors, networking opportunities with leaders and Employee Resource Groups, and conclude with a capstone presentation of their findings and accomplishments. Internship assignments are typically located at our Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas offices, with a duration of 10 to 12 weeks.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • Current level in college: Freshman through Senior.
  • Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2030.
  • Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
  • A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to work in either of these locations: Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX.
  • A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly alongside ConocoPhillips subject matter experts in disciplines such as: Application/Automation Development, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics, Emerging Digital Technologies, Enterprise Business Capabilities, Firewall Engineering, IT Security, Network Engineering, Telecommunications.
  • Receive regular feedback, coaching, and guidance from supervisor and mentors throughout the internship.
  • Interact with leaders and plug into Employee Resource Groups.
  • Showcase findings and accomplishments through a capstone presentation at the end of the summer.
