About The Position
ESN is seeking an Information Technology Generalist III to provide advanced technical support for Navy information systems, networks, and communication infrastructure. The role serves as a resource for troubleshooting complex issues and implementing system upgrades. This is an on-site position at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.
Requirements
- At least 4–10 years of progressive experience in IT support.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Strong networking skills.
- Experience with server administration.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for Navy information systems, networks, and communication infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement system upgrades.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on hardware and software.
- Support management of network infrastructure components.
- Assist in resolving complex technical problems.
- Implement network security measures.
- Administer server environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Mentor junior technicians.
- Contribute to system improvement initiatives.
