The Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2 role in the Employment Banking and Revenue IT Delivery Center offers an exciting opportunity to support secure file transfer operations across multiple agencies. This position plays a key part in keeping essential data moving safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, Senior Applications Developer, Database Administrator 1, Data Administrator 1, Information Security Specialist 2, or Network Administrator 1; or Six years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of IT security programs, or other IT support/administration services; or Four years of IT experience that includes three years of technical IT experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of IT security programs, or other IT support/administration services, and an associate’s degree in any IT field; or Two years of technical IT experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of IT security programs, or other IT support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any IT field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain file transfer systems to support reliable data movement across agencies
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate solutions with network teams and vendors
  • Review requirements to ensure alignment with security standards and federal guidelines
  • Support planning, testing, and deployment activities throughout the system development process
  • Maintain up-to-date records for hosting, firewall settings, and policy changes
  • Participate in meetings and work with partners to guide secure file transfer operations
