It plays an important role in keeping technology purchases, contracts, and financial processes organized and compliant.

Requirements

• One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Review IT purchase materials and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Work with agency staff, vendors, and subject matter experts to move procurement actions forward
• Monitor procurement data and verify cost savings and funding needs
• Develop procurement documents and assist with evaluating proposals and vendor responses
• Address procurement obstacles and escalate issues when required
• Provide guidance on procurement-related matters for various IT domains
