About The Position

Employees in this role partner with staff across the Town to keep our technology systems running smoothly and supporting the work we do every day. This includes helping test, maintain, and monitor a wide range of systems—from servers and networks to databases and business applications. The position involves evaluating software tools to see how well they fit our needs, adapting applications when necessary, and recommending new solutions that help the Town operate more efficiently. Team members in this role also help document system processes, develop testing and quality standards, and make system improvements that streamline workflows and make information easier to share across departments. While most work is performed independently with general guidance from IT leadership, the role offers opportunities to collaborate, solve problems creatively, and make a meaningful impact. Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed for maintenance or special projects, and success is measured by the reliability of our systems, the quality of technical support provided, and feedback from the colleagues we serve.
