About The Position

Provide onsite and remote technical support to hospital staff. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and business applications. The specialist will support Microsoft 365, email systems, and user productivity tools, and assist with Active Directory account creation and user access management. Responsibilities also include maintaining hardware and software inventory records, performing preventive maintenance and system checks, and supporting printers, barcode scanners, and clinical workstations. The role requires responding to help desk tickets, documenting work performed, and assisting with network infrastructure and wireless systems. Additionally, the specialist will support backup systems, cybersecurity initiatives, and participate in downtime procedures and emergency support. Support for hospital information systems and clinical technology platforms is crucial, along with coordinating with vendors for support and project implementation. Providing end-user training and customer service, as well as participating in after-hours support and on-call rotation, are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of IT support or healthcare IT experience preferred.
