About The Position
This role is for an Information Systems Architect - Project Lead with extensive experience in enterprise systems and AWS. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AWS core services, Amazon Connect, API integrations, and automation. Security, logging, and monitoring in AWS are critical aspects of this position. The role also involves scripting and potentially AI/ML integrations. The selected contractor will need to provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in development or administration
- 3+ years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda)
- 3+ years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
- 3+ years of experience integrating APIs, serverless functions, and cloud-native services
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
- 3+ years of experience with security best practices, logging, and monitoring in AWS
- 3+ years of experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering
- Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) Certification
Responsibilities
