About The Position

This role involves leading projects as an Information Systems Architect, focusing on enterprise systems and cloud technologies, particularly AWS. The architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering cloud-native solutions, integrating various services, and ensuring security and automation best practices. The position requires a strong understanding of AWS core services, contact center technologies, API integrations, and Infrastructure as Code. The selected candidate will need to provide their own equipment, as Lumen and its clients will not supply laptops or monitors. Access to a virtual desktop environment will be provided.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems
  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in development or administration
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda)
  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
  • 3+ years of experience integrating APIs, serverless functions, and cloud-native services
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • 3+ years of experience with security best practices, logging, and monitoring in AWS
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations
  • Experience with cost optimization and FinOps
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) certification

Responsibilities
