Temporary Employee (Information Security Intern)
About The Position
This is a temporary internship position focused on Information Security. The intern will assist with various operational, engineering, and risk management tasks. Key objectives include cleaning up Access Control Review (ACR) processes, managing and potentially automating Active Directory tasks, assisting with daily compliance reviews, and supporting the BC in the Cloud project through data entry. The intern is expected to help complete recent audit findings, explore automation opportunities for ACR using Active Directory, configure the Access Auditor application according to industry standards, complete automated CIS testing, and document Line of Business (LOB) information in the BC in the cloud tool. Regular status updates will be provided to the InfoSec management team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field.
- Basic understanding of Information Security principles.
- Familiarity with Active Directory is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and document processes.
- Good communication skills for monthly status reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Access Control Review processes.
- Knowledge of automation tools.
- Familiarity with CIS testing.
- Experience with cloud-based tools.
Responsibilities
