Infectious Disease Physician - Greenville, NC
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice serves facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time scheduling. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least 3 days per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician will practice.
- Commit to working at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
